Alisa VPN (Алиса ВПН): what the service is, how much it costs and why it isn't working

Alisa VPN («Алиса ВПН» in Russian) is a Telegram service with the bot @vpnalisabot and the channel @vpnalisa, which had 121 thousand subscribers as of October 26, 2026. It sells a subscription that you plug into third-party clients such as Happ. It has no app of its own on Google Play or the App Store. Plans on the alisavpn.cc site start at 299 rubles a month. The service has nothing to do with Yandex or its voice assistant Alice (Alisa): this is stated explicitly at the bottom of its site. There is also a namesake with a similar name, Alice VPN with the Alice Ray app, and that is a different project.

If you need a VPN with its own app in the stores, a named protocol and no mandatory registration, we recommend BessyConnect. Below we look at how Alisa VPN works, where its official addresses are and what to do if it has stopped connecting.

Alisa VPN: what is it and who is behind it?

Alisa VPN is a seller of subscription keys, not an app. Purchases and management go through a Telegram bot or a personal account on the site, and you connect in someone else's client. The legal entity providing the service is not named in the service's documents.

What we were able to verify from primary sources on October 26, 2026:

ParameterWhat is stated
Bot@vpnalisabot, «АЛИСА ВПН VPN» (ALISA VPN VPN), 21,141 monthly users according to Telegram
Channel@vpnalisa, «АЛИСА VPN НОВОСТИ ВПН» (ALISA VPN VPN NEWS), 121,102 subscribers, created August 14, 2025
Sitesalisavpn.cc and alisasos.cc (both registered in 2026); vpnsos.ru redirects to alisasos.cc
Support@alisavpnsup, guides in @alisavpnhelp, chat @alisavpnchat
Own appNo; third-party clients are used, Happ by default
PlansFrom 299 to 1,900 rubles a month
OperatorNot named; the policy mentions a payment partner, Global Bridge LLC (ОсОО «Глобал Бридж», Bishkek)

The site looks unexpected. On alisavpn.cc the service is described as a "device cleanup and speed-up" program, and the letters V.P.N are spelled out as Virtual Performance Navigator. The user agreement of May 30, 2026 calls the service "optimization of device and home network performance" and states in a separate clause that it is not intended for accessing information prohibited in Russia. In the channel and the bot the same service calls itself a VPN. For a buyer this matters in one place: in refund disputes, the wording of the agreement applies, not the description in the channel.

The figures on the site should be read as the service's own claims: "cleaning and speeding up devices since 2022", "more than 96,000 clients", "4.9 out of 5, 12,000 reviews". Yet the channel was created in August 2025, the reviews on the site talk about clearing phone memory, and there is nowhere to verify them: the service has no app store listings where they could be cross-checked.

The query «алиса впн роскомнадзор рулетка» ("alisa vpn roskomnadzor roulette") is also connected with this service. On December 16, 2025 the channel posted a browser game, "Roskomnadzor Employee Simulator", on a separate site. As of October 26, 2026 the game's site didn't open for us.

Alisa VPN site and bot: where are the official addresses, and who are the lookalikes?

The official addresses are listed in the description of the @vpnalisa channel: the bot @vpnalisabot, the sites alisavpn.cc, alisasos.cc and vpnsos.ru, and support @alisavpnsup. Anything else with a similar name has nothing to do with this service.

There are many lookalikes. A check on October 26, 2026 found:

  • Alice VPN. An independent service with the site alice-vpn.online (domain registered October 2024) and the bot @Alice_VPN_bot, which has 31,172 monthly users. It has its own client, Alice Ray, from the British company AVENIX LTD: more than 100 thousand installs on Google Play with a 3.5 rating, and a 4.0 rating in the App Store. The site alicevpn.click is about Alice VPN specifically, but states itself that it is not its official representative.
  • Namesake bots. @AlisaVPNbot and @alisavpnbot ("AlisaVpn"), @AliceVPNbot, @alisavpn_bot ("VPN STAR"), @alisa_vpn_bot ("GOOD'OK VPN"). None of them is mentioned in the official channels of Alisa VPN or Alice VPN.
  • The alisavpn.ru domain. Registered on December 11, 2025 to a private individual; there is no site on it.

The simplest way not to get it wrong is to open the bot via the link from the @vpnalisa channel rather than through Telegram search. How to spot a fake client or bot is covered in the article on how to spot a fake VPN app. Alisa VPN belongs to the same wave of services that sell subscriptions through Telegram; a general checklist for them is in the review of people's VPNs.

How much does Alisa VPN cost, and can you try it for free?

You can only try it for free: the site promises trial access "without entering a card or any charges", but doesn't state how long the trial lasts. After that you need a subscription, and its price depends on the number of devices.

Plans on alisavpn.cc as of October 26, 2026:

PlanDevicesPrice per month
Basicup to 3299 rubles
VIPup to 6, VIP servers399 rubles
Premiumup to 8, VIP servers699 rubles
Family Premiumup to 12, VIP servers990 rubles
Businessup to 20, then +150 rubles per device1,900 rubles

Traffic on regular servers is claimed to be unlimited on all plans. The exception is servers marked «БС» (from «белые списки», whitelists), which the service introduced in April 2026 for use under whitelists: they have a limit, and the channel asks people not to download files through them. You can pay by card, via SBP (the Russian Faster Payments System) or with cryptocurrency. In December 2025 the channel offered 100 rubles for each friend invited.

The refund terms are strict. The refund policy of May 30, 2026 allows a refund only within three calendar days of payment and only if the service was not actually provided. If connections to the servers have already been recorded, the money is not returned. Requests are accepted only via @alisavpnsup, and payment system fees are deducted from the amount.

How to download Alisa VPN on a phone, PC and TV?

You can't download an "Alisa VPN app" because it doesn't exist. You take out a subscription in the bot or on the site and then add it to a client: by default the service recommends Happ, but according to the channel the subscription works in any compatible client.

A search for «алиса vpn» and "alisa vpn" in the Russian App Store and Google Play on October 26, 2026 did not find an app of the service's own. Alice Ray shows up in the results, but that is the client of a different service, Alice VPN.

The connection steps are:

  1. Open @vpnalisabot via the link from the @vpnalisa channel or go to alisavpn.cc.
  2. Activate the trial or pay for a plan.
  3. Install a client for your device. The site has guides for iPhone, Android, Windows, Mac, TV and router.
  4. Add the subscription to the client using the link from the bot or personal account, and choose a server.

On iPhone in Russia there's a catch. On June 24, 2026 the channel reported that Happ had disappeared from the Russian App Store, and on June 29 that the app was back. Clients for keys periodically vanish from the Russian store, so keep a backup at hand. What Happ can do and how it differs from other clients is covered in our Happ review.

APK files named «Алиса ВПН» (Alisa VPN) on third-party sites have nothing to do with the service: it has no Android app of its own, so there is no official APK either.

Why isn't Alisa VPN working, and what to do?

Most often the culprit is an outdated subscription in the client or a server blocked by your carrier. Refresh the subscription, change the server and check whether a second VPN is interfering. If that doesn't help, write to @alisavpnsup.

What to check, in order:

  1. Refresh the subscription in the client. On October 25, 2026 the service added new servers and asked users to tap the refresh button in the app if they weren't in the list. Without this, the client keeps knocking on the old addresses.
  2. Change the server. Under whitelists on mobile internet, regular servers don't connect; for this case the service offers «БС» servers. That is its claim; we haven't verified it.
  3. Switch networks. If it works on Wi-Fi but not on mobile data, the restriction is on the carrier's side. How such shutdowns work is explained in the article on mobile internet whitelists.
  4. Don't trust a single ping. In July 2026 the Alisa VPN channel explained that Happ and Incy measure latency differently, so the same server shows different numbers. In Happ the service advises choosing the HTTP (GET) ping in the settings.
  5. If Telegram won't open, you can manage your subscription on the vpnsos.ru site: the channel advises remembering this address for exactly such a case.
  6. Contact support at @alisavpnsup. The vpnsos.ru page promises a reply in about 10 minutes.

General reasons any VPN stops connecting are collected in the article why a VPN isn't working.

A separate case is when the VPN itself works but Yandex apps won't open. Since April 2026, according to Lifehacker (Лайфхакер) on April 15, Yandex Weather, Yandex Mail and Kinopoisk cover the screen with a banner linking to a regulator's requirement when a VPN is on. This isn't a fault of Alisa VPN. What helps is either turning off the VPN or routing Russian apps outside the tunnel with split tunneling.

Is Alisa VPN safe, and what data does it collect?

According to its privacy policy of May 30, 2026, Alisa VPN doesn't record visited sites, DNS queries or traffic contents. At the same time the service stores your email, Telegram ID, the IP address you log in to the site from and technical logs, and the documents don't say who its operator is.

What is collected according to the policy text:

  • email address and the password hash for the personal account;
  • Telegram ID, if the account is linked;
  • the IP address of connections to the site and API, device type, browser version, request time;
  • error logs and operation audit logs;
  • payment data: amount, status, transaction ID.

The policy allows data to be shared with payment partners, hosting providers and "authorized state bodies of the Russian Federation" in the manner established by law. The only legal entity named is the payment partner Global Bridge LLC from Bishkek.

One more detail from the channel. On May 1, 2026 the service explained that on servers marked ⚪ traffic first goes to its server in Russia and only then out to the internet. It presents this as a way to save on possible charges for foreign traffic. Keep this setup in mind if it matters to you which country your connection passes through.

Why we recommend BessyConnect

We recommend BessyConnect to those who want to install a VPN from an official store rather than assemble a "bot plus someone else's client" combination. BessyConnect has its own apps, and the protocol is named outright: VLESS with Reality camouflage, which makes the traffic look like ordinary HTTPS. There are more than a hundred servers, no logs are kept, registration isn't required, and there is a trial period.

Let's be direct about where the competitors are stronger. Alisa VPN has guides for Windows and routers, payment via SBP and cryptocurrency, and a site that works when Telegram won't open. Alice VPN's client is available in the Russian App Store, and versions for Windows and Linux are claimed. BessyConnect has no Windows app.

BessyConnect apps:

What neither BessyConnect nor any other VPN solves. If your carrier has switched on whitelists, a VPN as a rule doesn't help. Yandex apps that block access while a VPN is on will keep blocking it. And the BessyConnect app isn't in the Russian App Store: to install it on an iPhone you need an Apple ID from another country.

If Alisa VPN connects and suits you, there's no reason to switch. If it has stopped working, the unnamed operator bothers you, or you don't want to depend on whether a third-party client stays in the store, try BessyConnect: all versions are gathered on the download page.
