Bebra VPN (in Russian, «Бебра ВПН»; people also search for it as «Бебро ВПН», Bebro VPN) is a paid VPN service with apps for Android, iPhone, Mac, Windows, Linux and TVs. It works by subscription: on the bebra.ai site, as of October 26, 2026, trial access cost 10 rubles for 3 days, followed by 500 rubles a month with auto-renewal. The seller in the App Store and on Google Play is the American KONDAKOV&GORIN LLC, while the site's documents name the British CODE ASSET LTD as the operator.
If you need a service with one clear protocol and no mandatory registration, we recommend BessyConnect: it runs on VLESS with Reality camouflage. Details in the section about it.
Bebra VPN is a commercial VPN with its own apps; the first iPhone version came out on September 25, 2023. The legal picture is mixed: the service's different platforms list three different companies in three countries.
What the sources show as of October 26, 2026:
| Parameter | What is stated |
|---|---|
| Seller in the App Store and on Google Play | KONDAKOV&GORIN LLC, address in Arizona (USA) |
| Operator on bebra.ai and in the user agreement | CODE ASSET LTD, London, number 16508808 |
| Registration of CODE ASSET LTD | June 10, 2025, according to the Companies House register |
| Answer in the site's help to "Where is the company registered?" | "In Kazakhstan" |
| Governing law under the agreement | State of California, JAMS arbitration |
| iOS version | 1.21.0 of October 22, 2026 |
| Google Play | 1M+ downloads, updated October 25, 2026 |
The same KONDAKOV&GORIN LLC has the VanyaVPN app in the App Store, and the Dyadya Vanya VPN («Дядя Ваня VPN») site also names CODE ASSET LTD as its operator. So Bebra and Dyadya Vanya VPN share a seller and an operator, and switching from one to the other doesn't change the provider.
The technical claims diverge too. The "Technologies" page on the site talks about Shadowsocks with ChaCha20-Poly1305 encryption and traffic camouflage. The App Store description names VLESS + REALITY and Shadowsocks, while Google Play lists VLESS + REALITY and XTLS Vision. The number of countries varies as well: 187 countries and 35,870 servers on the site, "180+ countries" in the stores. Bebra belongs in the same row as other people's VPNs with simple names and a single button.
There is no permanent free plan: the app is free to download, but it works only with a subscription or during the trial. Prices depend on where you subscribe.
On bebra.ai, as of October 26, 2026, the plans were:
The US App Store has a different set: $9.99 a month, $39.99 for six months and $59.99 a year. The service's Telegram bot offers "3-day trial access".
The site's home page promises a money-back guarantee. The user agreement (version of October 22, 2026) narrows it considerably: a refund is possible only if you apply within 14 days and no more than 1 GB of traffic has passed through the account in the last 30 days. Cryptocurrency payments aren't refunded at all, and purchases through the App Store and Google Play are refunded by the store itself. How not to get caught by auto-renewal after a trial plan is covered in the article on VPNs with a trial period.
According to the service's help, a subscription can be cancelled in two ways. One paid on the site is turned off in the personal account on bebra.ai; one paid through the App Store or Google Play is cancelled in the phone's subscription settings.
The official sources are: Google Play for Android, the App Store for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV, and the installers for Windows, Linux and Android TV are posted on bebra.ai. The app isn't in the Russian App Store.
By platform:
For iPhones in Russia, the service offers a temporary foreign Apple ID for 15 minutes. We don't recommend doing this: on your own phone you sign in to an account controlled by a third party. It is more reliable to create your own Apple ID from another country once.
The official site the App Store listing links to is bebra.ai, and the personal account is in the /dash section. The contacts page lists Telegram support @bebravpn and the bot @BEBRA_VPN_BOT.
A search for «бебра впн» turns up many sites that call themselves official. What we saw on October 26, 2026:
Pay for a subscription only in the app or on bebra.ai. How to tell a clone from the original is covered in detail in the article on fake VPN apps.
Common causes: a broken VPN profile in the system, connecting from two devices to different countries, an exhausted traffic limit at a location, and blocking of specific addresses on the carrier's network. The first three can be fixed on the user's side.
In the Russian Google Play storefront, Bebra's average rating is 2.9 out of 5 from 23 thousand reviews; in the US App Store it is 4.5 (as of October 26, 2026). In Google Play reviews from August 2026, several people write that the service has become worse at connecting.
What to check, in order:
If nothing helped and other VPNs work on the same network, the problem is most likely on Bebra's servers. Common causes of failures are collected in the article why a VPN isn't working.
According to its privacy policy, the service doesn't keep logs of visited sites. But it does store some things about the user, and it is worth knowing them in advance.
According to the privacy policy (updated August 28, 2025), it stores your email, payment data and traffic volume counters linked to the account, which the service uses to decide on refunds. Firebase and App Center are used for analytics. In the App Store, the developer states that only the email is linked to your identity, and diagnostics are collected without linking. Google Play states that data isn't shared with third parties, but that personal information, app activity data and device identifiers may be collected.
We found no independent audit of these claims. We also note the inconsistency in legal entities: in a payment dispute it is unclear which of the three companies to contact. Formally, under the agreement, it is CODE ASSET LTD, and disputes are settled by arbitration under California law.
If Bebra won't connect or the inconsistencies in its documents bother you, choose a service where the protocol is named unambiguously. A comparison by verifiable parameters as of October 26, 2026:
| BessyConnect | Bebra VPN | Dyadya Vanya VPN | AmneziaVPN | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Protocol | VLESS with Reality camouflage | VLESS + REALITY, Shadowsocks (varies between sources) | VLESS + REALITY, XHTTP, Hysteria2, Shadowsocks | AmneziaWG, XRay VLESS Reality and others |
| Free access | trial period | trial for 10 ₽ | trial plan | free app and Amnezia Free |
| Registration | optional | optional, the account is created automatically | no data | no data |
| Windows and Linux | no | yes | yes | yes |
| TV | Android TV, Apple TV | Android TV (APK), Apple TV | no data | Android TV |
| Russian App Store | no | no | no | no |
Where Bebra is stronger than BessyConnect, to say it plainly: it has clients for Windows and Linux, a choice of 180+ countries and split tunneling with a «Для России» ("For Russia") mode. Dyadya Vanya belongs to the same companies as Bebra, so as a replacement it changes little. AmneziaVPN suits those who are ready to rent their own server: the app itself is free and open source.
We recommend BessyConnect to those who need one clear protocol and a predictable connection. It runs on VLESS with Reality camouflage: traffic looks like an ordinary HTTPS connection, which makes the service resistant to DPI. There are more than a hundred servers, no logs are kept, registration is optional, and there is a trial period.
BessyConnect apps:
What BessyConnect doesn't solve. It has no Windows app, so on a Windows computer Bebra is more convenient. BessyConnect isn't in the Russian App Store either: on an iPhone you need an Apple ID from another country. If mobile internet is restricted by whitelists, a VPN usually doesn't help. And BessyConnect won't help you get money back for a Bebra subscription: first cancel its auto-renewal in the personal account or in the store.
If Bebra connects reliably for you, there is no reason to switch. But if it has stopped working or the three different companies in its documents bother you, try BessyConnect: all versions are gathered on the download page.
Are Bebra VPN and Bebro VPN the same thing? Yes, «Бебро» (Bebro) and «Бебру» (Bebru) are spelling variants of the same service, Bebra VPN. The official site is bebra.ai, and the apps are published by KONDAKOV&GORIN LLC.
Can I use Bebra VPN for free? There is no permanent free plan. The site offers 3-day trial access for 10 rubles, after which the subscription renews at 500 rubles a month (prices as of October 26, 2026).
How do I download Bebra VPN for PC? The Windows installer (7 SP1 and later) and the Linux file are posted on bebra.ai, and the Mac version is in the Mac App Store. Don't download files from lookalike sites: they lead to other services.
How do I cancel a Bebra VPN subscription? If you paid on the site, turn off auto-renewal in your bebra.ai personal account. If through the App Store or Google Play, cancel the subscription in the store's settings on your phone.
What can I replace Bebra VPN with? We recommend BessyConnect: VLESS with Reality camouflage, more than 100 servers, no logs and no mandatory registration. Keep in mind that it has no Windows app.
