Buba VPN (in Russian «Буба ВПН») is a paid VPN service. You take out a subscription in the Telegram bot @Buba_Top_Robot or on bubavpn.com and connect through the BClient app or the Happ and INCY clients. As of October 26, 2026, 30 days for one device cost 209 rubles, and there is a free trial day with a 10 GB limit. Since October 2026 there has also been a different app under the same name on Google Play, Buba VPN from a Moscow-based sole proprietor, so below we cover both products.
If you need a service that names its protocol outright (VLESS with Reality camouflage), doesn't require registration and works in its own app, we recommend BessyConnect. The comparison and store links are in the section on replacements.
Buba VPN is a service that sells access to its servers through a Telegram bot and a website. It has no separate app called "Buba" in the stores. The service's channel @bubanewsofficial was created on November 27, 2025, and as of October 26, 2026, it has about 144 thousand subscribers. The domain bubavpn.com was registered on March 1, 2026.
The service's documents don't name a legal entity. The privacy policy and the user agreement (in force since July 1, 2026) name the operator as "the owner of the BUBA VPN Service". BClient, the app the service calls its client, is sold in the App Store by VAN CRIS DEEN SRL, and on Google Play it is published under the name FLF DIGITAL with a Paris address. Public sources don't show how these companies are connected to Buba. BClient's descriptions in both stores don't mention Buba: it is a general-purpose client for Xray-core connections into which you enter an access key.

Data is taken from bubavpn.com and buba-app.ru, their documents and store listings as of October 26, 2026.
Buba's official entry points are the ones the channel @bubanewsofficial links to: the bot @Buba_Top_Robot, a second handle @bubabot (both named «БУБА VPN | Happ | INCY»), support at @BubaSup and the site bubavpn.com. The channel calls the site a backup route: on March 29, 2026, when the bot was unavailable, users were offered to buy subscriptions on bubavpn.com.
Buba VPN on Google Play is a different product. It is published by sole proprietor Maksim Alekseevich Skvortsov, with its own site buba-app.ru, its own support (@narodniy_team and the email narodniy.vpn@gmail.com) and its own prices. The same sole proprietor runs the service «Народный VPN» (Narodny VPN) on narodniyvpn.online, and besides the VPN, case-opening simulator games are published under his name on Google Play. We found no link in public sources between this app and Buba's Telegram service.
Telegram also has other bots with similar names, for example @bubavpn_bot and @buba_vpn_bot. Buba's channel doesn't link to them. In the Russian App Store, a search for "буба vpn" first returns someone else's app whose description doesn't mention Buba. The rule is simple: take the bot from the channel and the app from a link on the official site. How to tell a clone by its developer and permissions is covered in the article on how to recognize a fake VPN app.
A month for one device costs 209 rubles; there is no free plan. There is a trial day: one device, 10 GB of traffic and basic speed. The prices in the table were taken from bubavpn.com on October 26, 2026; the site itself returns them when you choose a plan.
| Term | 1 device | 2 devices | 5 devices | 10 devices |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 30 days | 209 ₽ | 279 ₽ | 489 ₽ | 839 ₽ |
| 90 days | 564 ₽ | 753 ₽ | 1,320 ₽ | 2,265 ₽ |
| 180 days | 1,003 ₽ | 1,339 ₽ | 2,347 ₽ | 4,027 ₽ |
| 360 days | 1,756 ₽ | 2,344 ₽ | 4,108 ₽ | 7,048 ₽ |
Prices have changed. On February 14, 2026, the channel quoted a monthly subscription at 179 rubles. The vpncheck.pro catalog (a secondary source) gives 199 rubles. Check the amount in the bot or on the site before paying.
You can pay by card or from your balance on the site. The service hands out discount coupons in its channel. For example, in August 2026 there was a 15% code, entered in the bot on the payment screen: "My subscription" → "Renew subscription" → "Activate coupon". Under the user agreement the subscription doesn't auto-renew: when the term ends, access is suspended until the next payment.
Refunds are strict. Under the refund policy, money is returned only if the account has used 0 bytes of traffic and the request is sent within 7 days of payment. According to the document, a single connection to the VPN means the service has been rendered.
Buba VPN for Android has its own prices: 200 rubles for 30 days, a first payment of 90 rubles, up to 7 devices in one account. Payment on buba-app.ru goes through YooKassa: card, SBP (Russia's Faster Payments System) or YooMoney.
There is no separate "Buba VPN" app in the App Store or Google Play. Since September 15, 2026, the service has recommended its own client BClient and still works with Happ and INCY. The connection steps are:
BClient's listings as of October 26, 2026: more than 10 thousand installs on Google Play and a rating of 4.3 from 20 reviews; 2 ratings in the Russian App Store. The service promises help with installation and adding the subscription in @BubaSup and in the online chat on the site.
A separate note on Buba VPN from Google Play. It is a standalone Android app (more than 5 thousand installs, rating 4.1), installs without registration, and the first day is free. For iPhone and computer owners this service offers INCY with a link from the personal account.
Buba has no program of its own for Windows or Mac: the site describes BClient as an app for iPhone and Android. On a computer you can add the subscription to Happ or INCY, which have versions for Windows, macOS and Linux. The service's bot names these clients right in its name.
We described the installation steps separately for INCY on PC, and what Happ is and where to get it is in our Happ VPN review. You don't need Android emulators or APKs from third-party sites for this. Besides, it is an unnecessary risk: an installer from an unofficial source may turn out to be a different app.
Most often the cause is on the service's side: maintenance, attacks on servers or a wave of blocking. Buba's channel itself reported the bot being unavailable on January 26, 2026, maintenance on March 21, 23 and 29, a DDoS attack on April 13, disruptions at the end of April (restored on April 29) and maintenance in early August (finished on August 9, 2026).
What to check, step by step:
Keep one caveat in mind. Buba advertises itself as a VPN that works under mobile internet whitelists, and the site has a separate "Russia" location for that mode. We haven't checked this independently. When a carrier leaves access only to permitted addresses, an ordinary VPN tunnel as a rule doesn't come up; we covered this in the article on mobile internet whitelists. General reasons why a VPN is connected but sites won't open are collected in why a VPN isn't working.
The service has no independent audit, so all you can rely on are its documents. The bubavpn.com privacy policy declares a no-logs principle: the service doesn't store visited sites, traffic content, DNS queries or connection history. VLESS is named as the protection protocol.
What the service does process, according to the same policy: your email address or account ID, payment information, traffic volume and the selected server country. Data may be stored outside the user's country. The service is intended for people over 18. On Google Play, BClient's listing says no data is collected or shared, but that data can't be deleted on request.
There are discrepancies in the numbers too. The user agreement promises servers "in 50+ countries", while the site shows 10 countries on the same day. The operator's name isn't given in the documents, so it is unclear whom to turn to in a dispute other than support at @BubaSup and the email help@bubavpn.com.
Buba VPN for Android has more detailed documents: the operator is a sole proprietor with a tax ID (INN), IP addresses are stored for no more than 15 days, and traffic volume, carrier name and network type are recorded. Site addresses and traffic content, according to the policy, aren't collected.
There are few store reviews: BClient has 20 on Google Play and Buba VPN has 14. Buba's large audience is in Telegram, where reviews aren't collected.
If Buba often goes down for maintenance for you, or it bothers you that the documents don't name a legal entity, we recommend BessyConnect. It runs on VLESS with Reality camouflage: to the carrier, the traffic looks like an ordinary HTTPS connection. There are more than a hundred servers, no logs are kept, registration is optional, and there is a trial period. You don't need keys or third-party clients: the servers are built into the app.
Where Buba is stronger, to be honest. The price is known in advance and low, from 209 rubles a month. BClient is in the Russian App Store, and BessyConnect isn't, so on an iPhone you need an Apple ID from another country. With a Buba subscription you can work on Windows through Happ or INCY, while BessyConnect has no Windows app.
| BessyConnect | Buba VPN (bot) | Buba VPN (Android) | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Type | Service with its own app | Service, subscription in BClient, Happ or INCY | Service with its own Android app |
| Protocol | VLESS with Reality camouflage | VLESS (privacy policy) | Not stated on the site |
| Registration | Optional | Telegram or site account | Not needed |
| Trial period | Yes | 1 day, 10 GB | 1 day |
| Price for 30 days | In the app | 209 ₽ | 200 ₽ |
| Devices | iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, Android, Android TV | iPhone and Android via BClient, PC via Happ or INCY | Android; iPhone and PC via INCY |
| Logs | Not kept | Not kept (claim) | Site addresses not collected, IP for up to 15 days |
| Russian App Store | No | BClient is there | No iOS app |
Data for Buba and Buba VPN comes from their sites, documents and store listings as of October 26, 2026. Other similar services with simple names («Ток» (Tok), «Тик» (Tik), «Дед» (Ded), «Ваня» (Vanya)) are collected in our review of popular VPN apps in Russia.
BessyConnect apps:
What neither BessyConnect nor any other VPN solves. Waves of blocking affect every service, and nobody can guarantee it will work on any given day. Under whitelists and full shutdowns of mobile internet, a VPN as a rule doesn't help. Services that themselves block foreign IP addresses may not open with a VPN either.
If Buba works reliably for you and paying in rubles through the bot is convenient, there is no reason to switch. If it often disconnects, or you want a service without registration, with a named protocol and its own app, try BessyConnect: all versions are gathered on the download page.
Is Buba VPN free? No. There is a free trial day for one device with a 10 GB limit, then a subscription from 209 rubles for 30 days (bubavpn.com, October 26, 2026).
Where do I download Buba VPN for my phone? There is no separate "Buba" app: the service recommends the BClient client from the App Store or Google Play, and the subscription is taken out in the bot @Buba_Top_Robot. Buba VPN on Google Play is an app from a different owner, a Moscow-based sole proprietor.
Is there Buba VPN for PC? There is no program of its own for computers. You can add the subscription to Happ or INCY, which have versions for Windows, macOS and Linux.
Can I get a refund for Buba VPN? Only if there has not been a single connection after payment (0 bytes of traffic) and the request is sent within 7 days. Contact @BubaSup or help@bubavpn.com.
What can I replace Buba VPN with? We recommend BessyConnect: VLESS with Reality camouflage, more than 100 servers, no logs, registration optional. It has no Windows app, and unlike BClient it isn't in the Russian App Store.
