"Gost VPN" (in Russian «Гост ВПН») is how people in Russia type Ghost VPN into search: a paid service sold through Telegram bots, where the subscription is taken out in a bot and connected in a third-party app, which for the services with websites is Happ. The largest bot with this name, @Vpn_Ghost_Robot, shows 169,516 monthly users as of October 26, 2026, but at least three more unrelated services with their own prices and rules operate under the same name. If you need a VPN with its own app in a store and without hunting for "the right" bot, we recommend BessyConnect, and below we go through what can be verified about Ghost VPN.
In 2026, «гост впн» is almost always searched as the Ghost VPN brand. Yandex suggestions as of October 26 consist of the queries «гост впн личный кабинет» (gost vpn personal account), «гост впн отключить подписку» (gost vpn cancel subscription), «гост впн поддержка» (gost vpn support), «гост впн тг» (gost vpn telegram) and «гост впн хапп» (gost vpn happ). That is how people search for a subscription service, not an encryption standard.
The second meaning exists too. "GOST VPN" (ГОСТ, Russia's state standard) refers to corporate communication channels with Russian cryptography, and people search for it with qualifiers such as «гост vpn ростелеком» (gost vpn rostelecom). For example, the Solar group (ГК «Солар») offers a service called "Communication channel encryption (GOST VPN)" for government bodies, personal data operators and critical infrastructure facilities. It uses equipment certified by the FSB of Russia. Selectel's documentation describes GOST VPN on InfoTeCS ViPNet Coordinator HW equipment with certificates from the FSB of Russia (class KS3) and FSTEC of Russia (type A firewall).
These are products for organizations that are required by law to use certified protection. They have nothing to do with the consumer Ghost VPN. BessyConnect isn't a certified cryptographic protection tool either and isn't suitable for such tasks.
Another source of confusion is CyberGhost. The suggestion «кибер гост впн скачать» (cyber ghost vpn download) refers to a different brand: the CyberGhost app in the App Store is published by Cyberghost SRL.
There is no single "official" Ghost VPN: we found at least four Russian-language services with this name, and none of them links to the others. Everything was checked directly on October 26, 2026.
| What it is | Where | What is known about it |
|---|---|---|
| Bot "Ghost VPN" | @Vpn_Ghost_Robot | 169,516 monthly users. Support @ghostvpnsuprobot (28,203 monthly users), channel @ghostvpn (457 subscribers). No site given |
| GhostVPN | site ghostvpn.store and bot @Ghost_Servise_VPN_Bot | Offer, privacy policy, payment by card or via SBP. Domain registered on June 20, 2026 |
| GhostVPN | site ghostvpn.cc and bot @ghostvlessbot | Plans from 99 rubles, personal account on the app subdomain. Domain registered on May 26, 2025 |
| VPN Ghost | site vpnghost.ru and bot @VPNGhostPlayBot | 5 days free, up to 3 devices. Domain registered on September 9, 2026 |
Besides these, there is a free Android app GhostVPN distributed as an APK file from ghostvpn.site, and an English-language GhostVPN on ghostvpn.com with prices in dollars. In the services chat of the Zelenka marketplace on Telegram, yet another Ghost VPN with three free days is advertised. Reviews and tips found online may concern any of them.
Judging by the number of users, the "Gost" from ads is most often @Vpn_Ghost_Robot. Its channel was created on March 25, 2026, and the team published the first post on October 10. In its description the bot promises stable operation under mobile carriers' whitelists. We haven't checked this promise. What whitelists are and why we don't promise that a VPN will work under them is explained in the article whether a VPN helps when mobile internet is shut down.
Ghost VPN is part of a wave of services with short "folk" names. How they are similar and how they work is covered in our review of popular VPNs in Russia: Tok, Tik, Ded, Vanya, Ogon.
The price depends on which Ghost VPN you picked: published plans as of October 26, 2026, start at 99 to 200 rubles a month. The largest bot, @Vpn_Ghost_Robot, has no site with plans; prices are visible only inside the bot.
| Service | Trial period | Price per month | Devices and traffic |
|---|---|---|---|
| ghostvpn.store (@Ghost_Servise_VPN_Bot) | 7 days, no card | 129 rubles, family plan 219 rubles | 5 devices, family plan 10; unlimited traffic with a "fair use" caveat |
| ghostvpn.cc (@ghostvlessbot) | 7 days, no card | 99 rubles (START) or 199 rubles (PRO) | START — 2 devices and 500 GB, PRO — 5 devices, unlimited |
| vpnghost.ru (@VPNGhostPlayBot) | 5 days | 200 rubles | Up to 3 devices, up to 200 GB a month on each server |
| @Vpn_Ghost_Robot | Not published | Not published | Not published |
Longer subscriptions are cheaper. The ghostvpn.store offer gives 349 rubles for 3 months and 999 rubles for a year on the personal plan. On vpnghost.ru a year costs 1,800 rubles.
The vpnstatus.site catalog (a secondary source) lists 300 rubles a month, a 30-day trial and 50 GB of traffic for "Ghost VPN", but doesn't specify which bot it means. The catalog itself writes that the service is "heavily advertised on TikTok". As of October 26, its listing has no reviews or user votes.
For most Ghost VPNs the personal account is the Telegram bot itself: there is no login or password, and you sign in through your Telegram account. ghostvpn.store states it outright: "Your account in the bot is your personal account." A separate web account exists at ghostvpn.cc (app.ghostvpn.cc) and at vpnghost.ru (the "Account" section). According to the site, registration at ghostvpn.cc is possible via Telegram or via this web account.
Hence a simple rule: your account is in the bot where you paid for the subscription. If you don't remember which bot it is, find the receipt or the payment message in Telegram.
Each service has its own support:
Check the handle character by character. @Ghost_VPN_support_bot and @ghostvpnsuprobot look similar but belong to different services.
Auto-renewal is turned off in the same bot where you paid, usually in the profile or subscription section. Deleting the Happ app isn't enough: charges come from the linked card, not through an app store.
Steps:
Yandex suggestions include the string «ghostvpn g. sankt-pete ru». This is usually what the recipient's name looks like on a bank statement. Which of the services this charge belongs to can't be established from public data: none of the pages we found name the seller or its city.
The Telegram-based Ghost VPN services have no separate app. You install a client from an app store and add the subscription with a button in the bot. ghostvpn.store and ghostvpn.cc send you to Happ; vpnghost.ru offers Happ, Incy or Karing.
A search for "ghost vpn" on Google Play returns several apps with this name from different publishers: Ghost VPN: One-Tap VPN Proxy from Dunesdev (more than 10 thousand downloads), Ghost VPN: Fast Tunnel from SANFAN TECH VIAGO, Ghost Paid VPN from SnowBerry. None of the sites listed above links to them; they are separate products. As of October 26, 2026, there is no Ghost VPN app in the Russian App Store.
On a computer, the Ghost VPN of ghostvpn.store and ghostvpn.cc is installed via the Windows or Mac version of Happ (vpnghost.ru adds Incy and Karing). You can add the subscription on both your phone and PC if the device limit allows. It is better not to install APK files from chats and unknown sites: we collected the signs of fake builds in the article how to spot a fake VPN app. The client itself and the query «гост впн хапп» are covered in detail in our Happ review.
Most often the cause is an expired subscription, an outdated server list or filtering by the carrier, not the app. Happ only opens the subscription issued by the bot.
What to check, in order:
The general diagnostic procedure is described in the article why a VPN isn't working.
We found no independent reviews of Ghost VPN: the Telegram services have no rated app store listings, and the vpnstatus.site catalog has zero reviews. You can judge only by the documents.
ghostvpn.store has the best-prepared documents. It has an offer (updated October 26, 2026), a user agreement and a privacy policy of October 15, 2026. Payment goes through YooKassa, and receipts, according to the policy, are generated via «Мой налог» (My Tax), the app used by self-employed people in Russia. The seller's name isn't given. The policy honestly lists what is collected: your Telegram ID, device data for the limit (model, OS, app name) and a technical log.
vpnghost.ru has a policy and an agreement of September 16, 2026, with no legal entity named. On the ghostvpn.cc home page we found no links to an offer or policy. The largest bot, @Vpn_Ghost_Robot, has no public documents at all.
We recommend BessyConnect to anyone who needs a VPN with its own app in a store, without choosing between namesake bots and without manually adding a subscription to a third-party client.

A comparison of what can be verified (26.10.2026):
| BessyConnect | Ghost VPN (@Vpn_Ghost_Robot) | GhostVPN (ghostvpn.store) | GhostVPN (ghostvpn.cc) | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| How it works | Its own app | Telegram bot, client not publicly stated | Bot and Happ | Bot and Happ |
| App store page | App Store and Google Play | No | No | No |
| Protocol named | VLESS with Reality | No | No | No |
| Public documents | Yes | No | Offer, agreement, policy | Not found on the home page |
| Windows | No app | Not stated | Via Happ | Via Happ |
| Trial period | Yes | Not published | 7 days, no card | 7 days, no card |
The Ghost VPN of ghostvpn.store and ghostvpn.cc is stronger in one respect: their subscription can be opened in Happ on Windows, while BessyConnect has no Windows app. If you need a VPN primarily on such a computer, BessyConnect won't cover that. ghostvpn.store, in addition, spells out its refund terms in detail in the offer.
There are other honest limits too. The BessyConnect app isn't in the Russian App Store, so to install it on an iPhone you'll need an Apple ID from another country. We can't help you cancel a subscription in someone else's bot or get your money back for it. Under whitelists and full shutdowns of mobile internet, no VPN connects, neither Ghost nor ours. And if you need GOST VPN for an organization, look for certified solutions: BessyConnect is a consumer service. How BessyConnect looks next to other VPNs is shown in our comparison of BessyConnect and other services.
If your Ghost VPN is paid for and working, there is no urgent reason to switch. But if you are tired of figuring out which "Gost" is the real one and want to cancel the subscription and forget about bots, start with BessyConnect: the app for your device is on the download page, and the trial period lets you test the service before paying.
Is Gost VPN the Russian GOST VPN? No. In search this is usually what people call Ghost VPN, a subscription service from Telegram. GOST VPN with certified Russian cryptography is a corporate service offered, for example, by Solar and Selectel.
Where is the Gost VPN personal account? In the Telegram bot where you paid for the subscription: for most services with this name, your account in the bot is the personal account. ghostvpn.cc and vpnghost.ru have a separate web account.
How do I cancel a Gost VPN subscription? In the bot where the subscription was taken out, in the profile or subscription section. For example, at ghostvpn.store the path is "Profile → Auto-renewal → Turn off". Deleting the Happ app doesn't cancel auto-renewal.
How much does Ghost VPN cost? It depends on the service. As of October 26, 2026, ghostvpn.cc charges from 99 rubles a month, ghostvpn.store 129 rubles and vpnghost.ru 200 rubles. The largest bot, @Vpn_Ghost_Robot, doesn't publish prices.
What can I replace Ghost VPN with? If you need a service with an app in the App Store and Google Play, VLESS with Reality camouflage and a trial period, try BessyConnect. But it has no Windows app, whereas a ghostvpn.store or ghostvpn.cc subscription can be opened on Windows via Happ.
