Medoed VPN (MEDOED VPN): what the service is, prices, the personal account and why it isn't working

Medoed VPN («Медоед ВПН», "Honey Badger VPN") is MEDOED VPN, a paid VPN subscription with the site medoed.cc and the Telegram bot @Medoed_net_bot. The service has no app of its own: the subscription is added to a third-party client, INCY or Happ. Plans as of October 27, 2026, range from 150 ₽ for 14 days to 1,195 ₽ for 180 days; each includes 3 devices, and the trial period is given without a card. The service is about two months old: the domain medoed.cc was registered on August 28, 2026. Under the same name, Telegram has several more bots that have nothing to do with it.

What is Medoed VPN and who is behind it?

MEDOED VPN sells access to its servers as a personal subscription link. The service works through a site with a personal account and through a Telegram bot, while the connection runs in someone else's app. No legal entity is named in the documents.

The terms of service and privacy policy on medoed.cc have been in effect since August 31, 2026 (version 1.0). The data controller is given as "the owner of the MEDOED VPN Service", with no company name, tax number or country. Disputes are to be resolved "at the location of the rights holder", which isn't stated either. For a paid service, this is a weak point: in a conflict, it's unclear whom to turn to other than the support bot.

MEDOED VPN has no apps of its own in the App Store, Google Play or RuStore: a search for "medoed" and «медоед» on October 27, 2026, found no VPN apps. This is a normal setup for services built on VLESS subscriptions, and it is described in the review of people's VPNs. The downside is that the service isn't responsible for the client itself: clause 3.3 of the terms says outright that the apps are developed by third parties.

How many bots are called "Medoed VPN" and how do you find the real one?

We found four bots with this name, but only one is official: @Medoed_net_bot. It is the one listed by the medoed.cc site, the terms of service and the customer channel's description. The other bots don't link to the site, and the site doesn't link to them.

What could be seen as of October 27, 2026:

• @Medoed_net_bot — the MEDOED VPN bot; all the buttons on the site lead to it. Support is handled separately by @medoed_support_bot.
• @medoedvpnbot and the channel @medoedvpn "Medoed VPN - News" — a separate project. The channel was created on February 8, 2026, half a year before the medoed.cc site, and has 70 subscribers. A post from February 17, 2026, promises a 5-day trial, "several servers in different countries" and operation under whitelists in Russia.
• @Medoed_VPN_bot — a bot without an avatar, described as "a VPN that isn't stopped by blocks". Who owns it isn't stated.
• @medoedvpn_bot — a bot called «Медоед VPN» (Medoed VPN) with no description or avatar.

Check by the bot's username, not by the name in the chat header: anyone can set a display name, but the username after @ is unique. The MEDOED VPN terms name only @Medoed_net_bot as the service's bot, so paying through another bot means making a deal with someone else. How much does Medoed VPN cost and is there a trial period?

The trial period is free and doesn't require linking a card; its length isn't stated on the site. There is one paid plan, which differs only in term and number of devices. The base price includes 3 devices and unlimited traffic.

Prices from medoed.cc as of October 27, 2026. Devices are added one at a time, from 4 to 10, and the price is recalculated at checkout.

What to know before you pay:

1. There are no automatic charges, according to the FAQ on the site: payment is one-time, and the bot reminds you when the term ends. However, the terms contain clause 5.6 covering plans with auto-renewal, so before paying, check exactly what has been switched on.
2. A refund becomes impossible almost immediately. Under clause 6.2 of the terms, the service is considered rendered once 1 MB of traffic has passed through the subscription.
3. Interruptions are not compensated. Clause 10.5: reduced speed and unavailable locations give no right to a refund or extension.

So a sensible order is this: first the trial period, then 14 or 30 days, and only if everything suits you, 180.

Medoed VPN download: where to get the app for phone and PC?

What you need to download is not "Medoed" but the INCY or Happ client: the service has no app of its own. You get the subscription on medoed.cc or in the bot, and then add it to the client with the «Подключить в INCY» ("Connect in INCY") button in the personal account.

The steps, following the service's instructions:

1. Open medoed.cc and tap «Попробовать бесплатно» ("Try for free"). You sign in by email, and the trial period starts immediately. You can do the same in the bot @Medoed_net_bot.
2. Install INCY. For iPhone, iPad and Mac, from the App Store; for Android, from Google Play; for Windows, the INCY installer for computers.
3. In the personal account, tap «Подключить в INCY» ("Connect in INCY") next to the subscription: the app will open and add it by itself.
4. If the account is open on your phone but you need the VPN on a PC, tap «Скопировать ссылку подписки» ("Copy subscription link"), send it to yourself and paste it into the client via "+".
5. Turn on the VPN with the button in the app; the server is chosen automatically.

For an iPhone in Russia, there is one detail. INCY (developer LLC ITDEV) is available in the Russian App Store as of October 27, 2026. Happ (Flyfrog LLC) is not there, only in other countries' stores, such as the US and Kazakhstan. So with a Russian Apple ID, of the two suggested clients, INCY is what remains. Don't install "Medoed VPN" as an APK from third-party sites: the service has no official APK, so any such file was made by someone else.

Medoed VPN not working: what to check?

Most often it helps to refresh the subscription in the client and turn on automatic server selection: that is what the service itself advises. If that doesn't help, check which network has the problem and write to @medoed_support_bot. Medoed has no app of its own, so the error may also be in INCY or Happ, not in the servers.

The order of checks:

1. Refresh the subscription in INCY or Happ. The service reserves the right to change addresses and protocols without notice (clause 3.5 of the terms), and old settings stop working.
2. Turn on automatic selection or pick a different server manually.
3. Check the subscription term in the personal account or the bot. When the paid term ends, access is switched off automatically.
4. Compare Wi-Fi and mobile internet. If it works on Wi-Fi but not on mobile, the cause is usually the carrier.
5. Count your devices. The plan includes 3 connections; if you exceed that, the service may drop extra sessions (clause 4.3).
6. Check whether the link has been reissued. If a subscription leak is suspected, the service issues a new one and announces it through the bot.

Is Medoed VPN safe and what do reviews say about it?

According to the privacy policy, network activity logs are not kept: browsing history, DNS queries and traffic content are not stored. But the connection address and session time end up in the servers' operational logs, and the legal entity responsible for this isn't named. As of October 27, 2026, we found no independent reviews of MEDOED VPN.

What the service collects according to its own policy (version of 31.08.2026):

• the Telegram account ID and name;
• the plan, terms and number of devices;
• the amount, date and status of payments;
• total traffic volume;
• correspondence with support;
• the connection address and session time; logs are deleted "as they rotate", with no period stated.

One inconsistency. The site offers sign-in by email, but the policy lists only the Telegram account and says nothing about email. The terms also say that an account is created "upon first contacting the bot". If you sign in by email, ask support how it is stored and deleted.

As for reviews, the situation is simple: the site is two months old, and we didn't come across the service on review sites or in roundups. The customer channel is invite-only. An opinion based on a few Telegram messages tells you nothing about how the service works on your network. The only way to check that is the trial period.

What can replace Medoed VPN: a comparison with alternatives

If Medoed won't connect or the lack of a legal entity bothers you, the closest replacements are services with their own app. Below are BessyConnect and two services we've already reviewed. Where Medoed is stronger is stated plainly.

Data from the sites and stores as of October 27, 2026. Where Medoed wins: prices are published and paid in rubles via SBP, on Windows the subscription works through INCY, and the INCY client installs with a Russian Apple ID. We recommend BessyConnect to those who don't want to depend on a third-party client and an opaque owner. The protocol is named openly: VLESS with Reality camouflage, which makes traffic look like an ordinary HTTPS connection. There are more than a hundred servers, no logs are kept, registration is optional, and there is a trial period.

What neither BessyConnect nor any other VPN will solve. When mobile internet is shut off under whitelists, a VPN usually doesn't help: traffic simply doesn't reach the server. BessyConnect has no Windows app. It isn't in the Russian App Store either; installing it on an iPhone requires an Apple ID from another country. And a subscription bought from Medoed can't be transferred to BessyConnect: they are different services.

If MEDOED VPN works reliably for you, there is no reason to switch. If it has stopped connecting, or you aren't willing to pay a service without a named owner, try BessyConnect: all versions are gathered on the download page.

Frequently asked questions

Are Medoed VPN and MEDOED VPN the same thing? Yes, it is one service with the site medoed.cc and the bot @Medoed_net_bot. But Telegram has at least three more bots with similar names, including @medoedvpnbot with a separate channel, and they are not related to medoed.cc.

Where is the Medoed VPN personal account? On the medoed.cc site, in the «Личный кабинет» ("Personal account") section, with sign-in by email. According to the site, everything there, including payment and the subscription link, is also available in the bot @Medoed_net_bot.

Does Medoed VPN have an app? No. The service issues a subscription that you add to the free INCY or Happ client. As of October 27, 2026, there is no "Medoed" app in the App Store, Google Play or RuStore.

Can I get a refund for Medoed VPN? Only if less than 1 MB of traffic has passed through the subscription; requests are reviewed within 7 days. After that, under the terms, the service is considered rendered.

What can replace Medoed VPN if it isn't working? A service with its own app, for example BessyConnect: VLESS with Reality camouflage, no logs kept, registration optional, and a trial period. Keep in mind that BessyConnect has no Windows version.
