Most often, "Пинг ВПН" (Ping VPN) refers to the Android app "Ping VPN быстрый и безопасный" (Ping VPN fast and secure) by Exyte ECM FZCO from Dubai. On Google Play it has more than 10 million installs and ranks second among free apps in the Tools category in Russia (as of October 23, 2026). The download is free, the protocol isn't named, and the privacy policy allows ads to be shown through the Appodeal network, even though the store description promises a VPN "without ads". The stores carry at least four more products from other companies under the same name, including a paid iPhone app. Below: how to tell them apart and what to do if Ping VPN has stopped connecting.
If you were looking not for an app but for connection latency, that is, the ping with a VPN turned on, you need a different article: what ping a VPN should have and which values count as normal.
Ping VPN is a free one-button VPN for Android that came out on Google Play on February 17, 2026. The developer is Exyte ECM FZCO with an address in Dubai Silicon Oasis (UAE); the support email is reviewspingvpn@gmail.com. The latest version, 2.2.2, came out on October 20, 2026 and requires Android 7.0 or later.
The description promises "support for modern protocols", a turbo mode, gaming optimization and a split mode for apps. The name of the protocol appears neither on the store page nor on the site. It is stated separately that the service works in Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and the USA.

The same company has two more VPNs on Google Play: Elyx VPN (50 thousand+ installs) and Kenguru VPN (10 thousand+). In the App Store, a search for the name Exyte ECM FZCO finds no VPN apps.
If it matters to you what a service runs on, we recommend BessyConnect: it names its protocol outright, VLESS with Reality camouflage, and no registration is needed. More details in the section below.
A check on October 23, 2026 found at least five different products named Ping VPN. None of their store pages mentions Exyte.
In Telegram, the bots @pingvpn_bot and @pingvpnbot and the account @PingVPNsupport exist, but they are run in Persian, and @pingvpn_bot offers to sell a VPN in its description. Neither the Exyte store page nor its site links to them. In RuStore the queries "ping vpn" and "пинг впн" found only ping-measuring utilities.
The original Exyte app can be recognized by three signs: the publisher Exyte ECM FZCO, the package com.pingsecure.client.app in the Google Play page address and the email reviewspingvpn@gmail.com in the "App support" section. APK files from third-party sites and "premium unlocked" builds, which people look for with the query "ping vpn скачать взлом" (Ping VPN download hacked), don't match these signs. What you risk by installing such a build is covered in the articles on fake VPN apps and on hacked VPNs as mod APKs.
Downloading and connecting are free. On ads, the sources disagree: the Google Play description calls the app a VPN "without ads" three times, while the privacy policy on the developer's site says outright that the app shows ads through the Appodeal platform and its partners.
For advertising, according to the same policy, the device's IP address and advertising ID are collected. The policy has been in effect since April 3, 2025. The Ping VPN store page has no "Contains ads" label, although Elyx VPN and Kenguru VPN from the same developer do have it.
Reviews on Google Play mention ads when entering and leaving the app and a paid version that removes the ads. The store page lists no subscription prices, so we won't name any.
The iPhone namesake from EdgeFlow has a different model. In the Russian App Store it has in-app purchases: 249 rubles a week, 599 rubles a month and 4,990 rubles a year (as of October 23, 2026). The Highlight Apps app in the US store costs from $4.99 a week, and there is also a lifetime purchase for $59.99.
Exyte's Ping VPN exists only for Android. This developer has no versions for iPhone or Windows, so "Ping VPN" in the App Store and the Microsoft Store are products of other companies.
The ping-vpn.vercel.app site shows icons for Windows, macOS, Android, iPhone and Chrome, but there is not a single download link. It also mentions servers "in 110+ countries", "up to 10 devices" and the Plus, Unlimited, Visionary and Family plans. None of these plans is mentioned on Google Play, and the store description names only four countries of operation. It looks like a landing page template, and you shouldn't rely on it when choosing.
For the query "пинг впн скачать на пк" (Ping VPN download for PC), the results include Android emulator sites that suggest running the mobile version on a computer. This is not a version from the developer but an Android app running inside an emulator. How to install a VPN on a computer properly we described in the article on VPN for PC.
The protocol isn't disclosed. The Google Play description speaks only of "support for modern protocols" and "nextgen technologies", so it is impossible to judge from the outside how resistant the service is to DPI.
The developer reported on data in the Google Play "Data safety" section. The app may collect and share with third parties the history of in-app actions, information about its performance and device identifiers. The data is encrypted in transit, but it can't be deleted on request; that is what the store page says.
The privacy policy names three third-party services: Google Play Services, Google Analytics for Firebase and the Appodeal advertising platform. The app doesn't require registration and doesn't ask for a name, email or phone number. The site's promise "we don't keep activity logs" and an advertising profile of the device don't formally contradict each other, but for a VPN this is a weak spot.
The main reason in autumn 2026 is blocking. On September 10 and 12, 2026, the developer answered complaints on Google Play with a single sentence: "The service has run into blocking, but the problem is now being fixed. We recommend reinstalling the app."
The order of checks:
If no step helped, most likely the carrier's network recognizes the protocol itself, and that can't be fixed on the user's side. Other causes are covered in the article why a VPN isn't working. Ping VPN belongs to the same wave of simple free one-button apps as Tok, Tik and Ded VPN. The general checklist for them is in the review of people's VPNs.
We recommend BessyConnect to those who want to understand how a service works. The protocol is named: VLESS with Reality camouflage, which makes the traffic look like an ordinary HTTPS connection. There are more than a hundred servers, no logs are kept, registration is not required, and there is a trial period.
Where Ping VPN is stronger, we will say honestly. You can use it free of charge with no time limit if the ads don't bother you, while with BessyConnect only the trial period is free. Neither of the two has an app for Windows.
| Ping VPN (Exyte) | BessyConnect | |
|---|---|---|
| Protocol | Not named | VLESS with Reality camouflage |
| Free access | Free with ads | Trial period |
| Registration | Not needed | Not required |
| Platforms | Android only | iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, Android, Android TV |
| Windows | No | No |
| Logs and data | The site promises not to keep logs; Appodeal ads receive the IP and advertising ID | No logs are kept |
BessyConnect apps:
What neither BessyConnect nor any other VPN solves. If mobile internet is restricted by whitelists, a VPN, as a rule, won't help. A VPN won't reduce the ping to a game server if the route through the VPN server is longer than the direct one. And the BessyConnect app isn't in the Russian App Store: to install it on an iPhone you need an Apple ID from another country.
If Ping VPN connects for you and the ads don't bother you, there's no reason to change it. If it stopped working after the wave of blocking, or you are uneasy about identifiers being passed to ad networks, try BessyConnect: all versions are gathered on the download page.
Are Ping VPN and the ping in a VPN the same thing? No. Ping VPN is the name of an app by Exyte ECM FZCO, while ping is connection latency in milliseconds. Normal latency values are covered in the article what ping a VPN should have.
Is Ping VPN free? Yes, downloading and connecting are free. The developer's privacy policy provides for ads shown through Appodeal, and reviews mention a paid version without ads.
Is there Ping VPN for iPhone? Exyte has no iPhone version. The Russian App Store has "Ping VPN: быстрый и безопасный" (Ping VPN: fast and secure) from EdgeFlow Technology Limited; it is a different app with a subscription from 249 rubles a week.
Can I download Ping VPN for PC? Exyte has no official Windows version, and the site has no download links. PingVPN in the Microsoft Store was released by Automatune, and it is a client for your own V2Ray configurations, not the same service.
How is BessyConnect better than Ping VPN? BessyConnect names its protocol (VLESS with Reality camouflage), keeps no logs and has apps for Apple devices and Android TV. On the other hand, Ping VPN can be used for free with ads, while with BessyConnect only the trial period is free.
