FKey, which people search for as «впн fkey» ("vpn fkey") and «фкей впн» ("fkey vpn"), is the game booster FKey: Boost Game & Reduce Ping from the Singapore company SOON BODYWERKZ AUTO PTE. LTD., the same publisher that releases JumpJumpVPN. On Google Play it has more than 10 million installs, the free version shows ads, and the user agreement allows only online game traffic to go through FKey. There is no official Windows version, and the app isn't in the Russian App Store either (data as of October 27, 2026). If you need a VPN for the whole phone rather than for one game, we recommend BessyConnect.
FKey is released by SOON BODYWERKZ AUTO PTE. LTD.; on Google Play the company lists an address in Singapore. In the Russian storefront the app is called «FKey — ускоритель игр» (FKey — game booster), in the US storefront and in the App Store it's FKey: Boost Game & Reduce Ping. The package ID is the same on both platforms: win.fkey.netboost.
The Android version came first. The fkey.win site with a Google Play button was saved in the Wayback Machine as early as June 2, 2025, while the app only came out in the App Store on March 6, 2026. The fkey.win domain was registered on November 18, 2024.

The site footer lists a different company as the copyright holder, JIACHUANG SMOOTH LIMITED. We didn't check the connection between the two legal entities. The publisher's best-known app, JumpJumpVPN, is covered in the review Turbo VPN, Super VPN and Jump Jump.
Technically FKey works as a VPN, but it's made and permitted only for games. The English description on Google Play says directly that the app uses the system VpnService, and the user picks a game and taps "Boost". The agreement of May 19, 2026, prohibits "use for anything other than online games", downloading files and using FKey as a proxy to mask the connection.
Hence the main gap between what people search for and what is being sold. The site calls FKey a "gaming VPN", people install it as an ordinary VPN, and in a Google Play review of September 18, 2026, a user complains that YouTube stopped opening through FKey. Under the service's own rules, YouTube and messengers aren't supposed to go through it. Another review, of October 13, 2026, notes that the app connects one program at a time.
One more small thing worth knowing. The Russian description on Google Play claims FKey uses the "GamingService API from Android", the English one says the VpnService API. The Russian version is repeated word for word by the FKey page on the MEmu emulator site.
There is a free mode, but with ads. Both stores carry the ads and in-app purchases labels, and the agreement says directly: "the app shows ads"; there are free and paid features. The subscription in the US App Store as of October 27, 2026, costs 5.99 dollars a month, 11.99 dollars for three months and 41.99 dollars a year.
The fkey.win site, meanwhile, promises "free forever, no ads, no fees". The same text was on the site as early as June 2, 2025, and the paid subscription, according to a review of April 15, 2026, appeared after one of the updates: the user gives a price of 350 rubles a month. We didn't check the ruble price in the store. Another review, of October 13, 2026, says that many regions are open only with VIP.
The site states a rating of 4.9, "15,692 reviews", "2 million+ downloads" and "more than 3 years" of operation. None of the figures matches the stores: Google Play shows 4.1 and 10M+, and at the time of the check the domain was less than two years old.
On Android, FKey is installed from Google Play, package win.fkey.netboost. On an iPhone you need an Apple ID from another country: the app isn't in the Russian App Store, but it's available in the US, Kazakhstan and Belarus ones. In RuStore it can't be found by the queries "fkey" and «фкей».
On PC. There is no official Windows client. fkey.win has only two buttons, Google Play and App Store, and there isn't a single installer in the site's code. All the "FKey for PC" pages in search results, including BlueStacks, MEmu and a catalog with "version 1.1.5 at 62.5 MB", actually offer to run the Android app in an emulator. The logic is simple: inside an emulator, FKey sees only that emulator's Android apps, and regular Windows games won't go through it.
On Mac. According to the App Store listing, the iPhone app runs on a Mac with an Apple M1 processor or newer and macOS 11.
Builds "via torrent" and APKs from unknown sites are better left alone. A tampered build with VPN permission sees all the traffic that passes through it. How to tell the original is covered in the article on fake VPN apps.
Lookalikes. The App Store has two more apps with this name, and they have nothing to do with SOON BODYWERKZ:
The original can be recognized by three signs: the publisher SOON BODYWERKZ AUTO PTE. LTD., the package win.fkey.netboost and the email support@fkey.win. The official Telegram account @FKeygamebooster leads to the channel FKey_Official (601 subscribers) and the support bot @FKeychatbot. The channel @fkeyvpn has nothing to do with the service.
Most often FKey doesn't connect because of an overloaded server, a region locked behind VIP, or because someone is trying to open something other than a game through it. As of October 27, 2026, we found no reports of FKey being blocked by Roskomnadzor. The developer doesn't disclose the protocol, so whether FKey works under DPI blocking can't be assessed from the outside.
Complaints from Google Play: the boost gets stuck at 90% (April 10, 2026), YouTube says "no internet" (September 18, 2026), FPS dropped after turning FKey on (October 4, 2026). What to check, in order:
If Roblox doesn't open at all rather than lagging, the cause is more likely access to the game itself than FKey. What's going on with access to Roblox now is covered in the article on VPN for Roblox. General causes of failures are collected in the article why a VPN isn't working.
By the developer's own declarations, FKey collects more than its description promises. On Google Play the developer writes that data isn't shared with third parties, but that personal information, in-app activity history and performance data are collected. In the App Store, the device ID is listed as data used for tracking and third-party advertising.
The privacy policy of August 24, 2026, specifies retention periods: technical data, including the IP address and device identifiers, up to 90 days; information about which games you play, up to 180 days; network measurements, up to 30 days. Advertising partners may process identifiers and the IP address. The same policy describes a voice chat via LiveKit that turns on only after microphone permission is granted. The phrase from the Russian description "data is not stored or tracked" doesn't match this.
The site advertises AES-256 encryption, a strict no-logs policy and a kill switch. We found no independent audit of these claims. A general checklist for simple one-button VPNs is collected in the review of people's VPNs.
If you specifically need a game booster, FKey is compared with GearUP. If you need a VPN for the whole device, you need a service without a ban on non-gaming traffic. The table contains only facts from the store listings as of October 27, 2026.
| BessyConnect | FKey | JumpJumpVPN | GearUP | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| What it is | A VPN for the whole device | A game booster, games only | A VPN from the same publisher as FKey | A game booster |
| Protocol | VLESS with Reality camouflage | Not named | Not checked | Not checked |
| Free access | Trial period | With ads, some regions VIP-only | With ads | In-app purchases |
| Registration | Optional | An account is required under the policy | Not checked | Not checked |
| Russian App Store | No | No | No | Yes |
| Windows | No | No, emulator only | Not checked | Not checked |
Where FKey is stronger. It's free if you put up with ads, and it's tailored to the route to game servers: game selection, region, ping statistics. BessyConnect doesn't promise to lower ping in games. When a VPN helps in games and when it only adds latency is explained in the article on VPN for games.
BessyConnect is a VPN for the whole device, not for one game. The protocol is named: VLESS with Reality camouflage, and traffic looks like an ordinary HTTPS connection. There are more than 100 servers, no logs are kept, registration is optional, and there is a trial period. You can turn it on for the browser, messengers and games at once, without "online games only" rules.
BessyConnect apps:
What neither BessyConnect nor any other VPN will solve. A VPN by itself won't lower your ping to a game server if the VPN server is farther from the game than you are. Changing your IP doesn't undo an account ban in a game or the region tied to an account. When mobile internet is shut off under whitelists, a VPN as a rule doesn't help. BessyConnect has no Windows app. It isn't in the Russian App Store either, just like FKey: on an iPhone you need an Apple ID from another country.
If you need FKey only for one mobile game and the ads don't bother you, there is no reason to switch. But if you installed it as an ordinary VPN and found that YouTube or messengers don't go through it, try BessyConnect: all versions are gathered on the download page.
What kind of app is FKey? It's the game booster FKey: Boost Game & Reduce Ping from SOON BODYWERKZ AUTO PTE. LTD. It routes the traffic of the selected game through its servers, and on Android it uses the system VpnService for this. The agreement prohibits using it for anything other than online games.
Is FKey VPN free? You can download and use it for free, but with ads, and some regions are open only with VIP. In the US App Store the subscription costs from 5.99 dollars a month to 41.99 dollars a year (as of October 27, 2026).
Can I download FKey on PC? There is no official Windows version; the fkey.win site has only Google Play and the App Store. Every "FKey for PC" is the Android app in an emulator like BlueStacks or MEmu, and it boosts only games inside the emulator.
Why isn't FKey in the App Store on my iPhone? FKey isn't in the Russian App Store; it's available, for example, in the US and Kazakhstan ones. The apps "FKey VPN: Super VPN 2026" and "Fkey - Super Fast VPN 2026" are released by other companies.
What can replace FKey if I need an ordinary VPN? We recommend BessyConnect: it works for the whole device on VLESS with Reality camouflage, doesn't require registration and doesn't keep logs. It isn't a game booster and has no Windows app.
