«Хаб ВПН» (Hab VPN, literally "hub VPN") isn't a single app but a name under which people search for at least three different things. Most often it is Happ spelled by ear: a free client with no servers of its own, into which you paste a key or a subscription. Less often it means the paid Telegram services called VPNHub, which sell subscriptions precisely for Happ, or Hub VPN storefront sites without an app of their own. We checked the stores, bots and sites on October 26, 2026, and below we sort out which is which. If you need a VPN with its own app and no hunting for keys, we recommend BessyConnect.
As of October 26, 2026, the words «хаб впн», "hub vpn" and "vpnhub" turn up the Happ client, two independent Telegram services called VPNHub, two Hub VPN sites and several apps of the same name in the stores. They have no common owner, and no connection between them is stated anywhere.

The interest is considerable: «хаб впн» gets about 39 thousand impressions a month, and «хаб впн скачать» ("hab vpn download") another 10 thousand (Yandex Wordstat, 25.09–25.10.2026). We have already covered such one-word names in the review of people's VPNs such as «Ток» (Tok), «Тик» (Tik) and «Дед» (Ded): they share the same problem, you can't tell from the name who is behind the service.
A separate note on the queries «гит хаб впн» ("git hub vpn") and «амнезия впн гит хаб» ("amnezia vpn git hub"). This isn't a service but GitHub, the platform where open-source clients are published. Because people pronounce "Happ" as «хаб» (hab) and write it that way too. As of October 26, 2026, Yandex suggestions for «хаб впн» almost word for word repeat the suggestions for «хапп впн»: "download for PC", "personal account", "free keys", "subscription". There is even a direct suggestion «хаб впн ключи бесплатно happy» ("hab vpn free keys happy").
Two more signs. The query «хаб плюс впн» ("hab plus vpn") matches the names of copies like "Happ Plus", and in the Russian App Store a search for "hub vpn" returns apps with the word Happ first. Search engines read the query the same way: in Brave's results for Russia, the top spots for «хаб впн» and «впн для хаба» ("vpn for hab") are taken by the Happ site, its Google Play listing and sellers of Happ keys.
What you need to know about Happ itself, according to the official site happ.su (checked 26.10.2026):
Hence the queries «впн для хаба» ("vpn for hab"), «ключи для хаб впн» ("keys for hab vpn"), «хаб впн подписка» ("hab vpn subscription"). Happ itself sells nothing; the key is issued by the server owner: a paid service, a Telegram bot or you yourself, if you rented a server. "Free keys" from open channels and collections work until the server is overloaded or blocked. The owner of such a server sees which addresses you connect to, and you don't know who they are. For private messages, banking and work accounts this is an unjustified risk.
VPNHub is a paid service on Telegram, not an app: the bot issues a subscription that you paste into Happ or V2RayTun. Two different services operate under this name, and they are easy to confuse.

The first VPNHub calculates the price with the formula "devices × 3.3 rubles per day × days", with a progressive discount of up to 50%. In August 2026 the channel announced new servers in Israel, France, the UAE, Sweden, Japan, Singapore, Argentina, India and Nigeria, and a monitoring page at status.vphub.me. Since October 13, 2026, the bot has had auto-renewal from an internal balance, 30 days by default, which is turned off in the «Подписка» ("Subscription") section. For mobile internet with "whitelists" the subscription has a separate auto-connect mode (post of 23.03.2026).
For the second VPNhub, the important part is in the user agreement: refunds are not made under any circumstances, and the trial period is given once. According to its privacy policy, the service stores your email, Telegram ID, IP address, payment history and device data, and keeps technical logs with IP and connection time for up to 90 days. According to the service, there are no logs of visited sites. The domain vps-hub.su was registered on April 11, 2026, and the channel was created on February 24, 2026.
The query «как поделиться подпиской в впн хаб» ("how to share a subscription in vpn hab") comes from here too: with the first VPNHub the price depends on the number of devices, and sharing one subscription among many people was, as the service itself explained, exactly what prompted the change in pricing.
Both sites call themselves «Хаб ВПН», promise three free days without a card and 7 devices per key, but show neither an app of their own nor a legal entity. The «Получить ключ» ("Get a key") and «Подключить ВПН» ("Connect VPN") buttons on both lead not to Telegram but, via a redirect, to a payment page titled «Horizon VPS — Виртуальные серверы» (Horizon VPS — Virtual servers).

The figures on the two sites of one "brand" don't match. The link from hubvpn.lol contains the same affiliate code as the buttons on tokvpn.help, which we covered in the Tok VPN review («Ток ВПН») on October 13, 2026. So these are storefronts that bring buyers to a third-party seller for a commission. There is nothing illegal about that, but you will have to ask the seller, not "Hab VPN", about refunds.
Check the publisher, not the name. The original Happ in the App Store is published by Flyfrog LLC, and its listing carries a warning: Happ doesn't sell VPN, and "official Happ VPNs" are offered by scammers. As of October 26, 2026, the Russian versions of Happ that happ.su links to don't open in the Russian App Store: both pages return a 404 error.
Meanwhile, on the same date the Russian App Store has apps using someone else's name:
On Google Play there is one original, com.happproxy: more than 10 million installs, a 4.3 rating, updated 16.10.2026. The listing names Veltrixor LLC as the developer, but that is exactly the listing happ.su links to. For Windows, macOS and Linux the official installers are on the Happ-proxy project's GitHub, with links on happ.su.
VPNs with similar names have nothing to do with Happ. HUB VPN: Secure Fast Proxy on Google Play (more than 500 thousand installs, a 3.9 rating) runs on OpenVPN, the developer's contact is a gmail.com address, and the privacy policy is on blogspot. VPN HUB by vpnhub.ltd (5K+ installs) hasn't been updated since June 2, 2026, and the vpnhub.ltd site now promotes three other apps: Vless VPN, GW VPN and Zapret VPN. The old international VPNhub by AppAtomic no longer opens on Google Play; its APK is distributed by third-party catalogs, and we don't recommend installing it from there.

If a VPNHub subscription or another service's subscription won't connect in Happ, the cause is almost always on the server side, not the client. After some of its servers were blocked on March 3, 2026, VPNHub itself asked users simply to update the subscription in the app.

There is also a less obvious trap. A subscription to a Telegram service is renewed in Telegram, and if the messenger is being throttled, getting into the bot can be hard. In February 2026, VPNHub with the @vpnhub_robot bot advised renewing in advance. The second VPNhub has email sign-in on its site for such cases.
We recommend BessyConnect to those who searched for "Hab VPN" but simply wanted a working VPN. It is its own app with its own servers: there is no need to buy a key from anyone or paste it anywhere, or to look for a bot.

The Happ and VPNHub combination is stronger in two things. It works on PCs with Windows and Linux, while BessyConnect has no Windows app. And in Happ you can keep keys from different services at once. If you need a VPN specifically on a Windows computer, BessyConnect won't solve that.
Other honest limits. The BessyConnect app isn't in the Russian App Store; for an iPhone you will need an Apple ID from another country. We can't return money already sent to someone else's bot or payment page. And when mobile internet is shut off completely, no VPN will connect.
If your Happ subscription works, there is no reason to change it. But if you are just choosing and don't want to figure out which of the "hubs" is the real one, install BessyConnect from the download page and try it during the trial period.
Are Hab VPN and Happ the same thing? Most often, yes: «хаб» (hab) is Happ spelled by ear. But separate paid services that issue subscriptions for Happ also operate under the names VPNHub and Hub VPN.
Is Hab VPN free? Happ itself is free, but without a key it connects to nothing. A VPNHub subscription on Telegram costs from 99 rubles for 30 days on one device with one service and 150 rubles a month with the other (channel data as of 26.10.2026).
Where can I download Hab VPN for PC? The official Happ installers for Windows, macOS and Linux are on the project's GitHub, with links on happ.su. The subscription for it is issued by the service you buy access from.
Which VPNHub bot is the real one? There are two independent ones: @vpnhub_robot with the @vpnhub channel, and @VPNhubBot with the site vps-hub.su. There are also similar @vpnhub_bot and @hubvpnbot, so check the address character by character and pay only in the bot listed in the official channel.
How is BessyConnect more convenient than Hab VPN? In BessyConnect the app and the servers come from one service, there is no key to hunt for, and the protocol is VLESS with Reality camouflage. But it has no Windows app, while Happ works on Windows.
