Tok VPN (in Russian, «Ток ВПН») is not an app from a store but a paid subscription sold through a Telegram bot: you receive a configuration key and paste it into a third-party client. The site tokvpn.help, which calls itself official, as of October 13, 2026 lists a price of 299 rubles a month for 7 devices and a three-day trial for 1 ruble. We found no separate app named Tok VPN in the App Store, on Google Play or in RuStore, but we did find several unrelated bots and sites with this name. If you need a service with its own app in a store and a clear publisher, we recommend BessyConnect, and below we go through what can be verified about Tok.
Tok VPN is a subscription to servers, not a program: the service doesn't release any app with that name. The legal entity, the owner and a privacy policy are not given on tokvpn.help; its two pages have neither company details nor terms of offer.
The query is popular: about 143,000 impressions a month according to Yandex Wordstat. Yet the site itself is young. According to WHOIS, the tokvpn.help domain was registered on January 25, 2026, the page with instructions was created on February 3, and the last edit of both pages is dated March 4, 2026.
It is interesting where the buttons lead. "Пробный период" (Trial period), "Подключить" (Connect) and "Получить ключ" (Get a key) open not a section of the site but a redirect link with a source tag, which ends on a page titled "Horizon VPS — Виртуальные серверы" (Horizon VPS — Virtual servers). The speed test button leads to a Telegram bot called Speed Test bot. The Tok site looks like a storefront, while the selling and issuing of keys happen under a different name. Who exactly the money goes to can't be established from the public pages.
Tok is part of a wave of services with short meme names. What they have in common and how they differ, we covered in the review of people's VPNs: Tok, Tik, Ded, Vanya, Ogon.
At least six different products and pages carry this name, and no connection between them is stated anywhere. We checked them directly on October 13, 2026.
| What it is | Where it is | What the page says |
|---|---|---|
| The site "Tok VPN — Официальный сайт" (Official site) | tokvpn.help | Subscription for 299 rubles a month, key through a Telegram bot |
| Telegram bot "TOK VPN" | @tokvpn_bot | "The fastest and most stable VPN without blocks" |
| Telegram bot "Tok VPN, подключился и работает" (connected and it works) | @tok_vpnbot | "A fast VPN for stable access every day" |
| Telegram channel TokVPN | @tok_vpn | A channel in Persian, 260 subscribers, selling SSH configurations |
| English-language site TOKVPN | tokvpn.app | A dedicated residential IP address for TikTok, Instagram and YouTube accounts |
| The "Ток VPN" extension for Chrome | Extscope catalog (a secondary source) | A browser proxy; in the Chrome store itself the extension page did not open on October 13 |
The tokvpn.help site doesn't link to either of the two Russian-language bots named Tok VPN. So it is impossible to say which of them is the "real" one: they have no shared sign of authenticity. Two more bots with similar addresses, @tok_vpn_bot and @tokvpnbot, exist without a description.
Part of the confusion is created by the query itself. Half of Yandex's suggestions for the words "ток впн" are questions about TikTok: "тик ток не работает с впн" (TikTok not working with a VPN), "впн для тик ток" (VPN for TikTok). If that is what you were looking for, you need the article VPN for TikTok, not a review of the service.
The tokvpn.help site gives the full price as 299 rubles a month, and one subscription is meant for 7 devices at once. There is no free plan: the trial period is paid, three days for 1 ruble.
| Parameter | What tokvpn.help claims (10/13/2026) |
|---|---|
| Price | 299 rubles a month |
| Devices | 7 at once; the site counts this as 42 rubles per device |
| Trial period | 3 days for 1 ruble |
| Servers | "Premium servers in 16 countries" |
| Traffic and speed | Unlimited, according to the site |
| Protocol | Not named |
| Privacy policy, company details | Absent from the site |
The queries "ток впн бесплатный" (Tok VPN free) and "tok vpn промокод" (Tok VPN promo code) show up in the suggestions, but the site has neither free access nor promo codes. A trial period for 1 ruble means that you leave your payment details. Before paying, find out in the bot whether the subscription renews automatically and where it is turned off. The site says nothing about this.
One more claim from the site: "your online activity is not tracked". There is nothing to confirm it with, because the site has no document about what data is collected and how long it is kept.
You can't download a "Tok VPN app"; it doesn't exist. The "Скачать" (Download) buttons on tokvpn.help lead to other people's client programs: v2RayTun and Streisand in the App Store, v2RayTun and Horizon Connect on Google Play, Hiddify on GitHub for Windows and Linux.
The scheme from the instructions on the site consists of three steps:
A check of the stores on October 13, 2026 confirms this. A search for the words "tok vpn" and "ток впн" in the Russian and US App Store, on Google Play and in RuStore didn't return a single app with that name. In RuStore the query does find "ТОК", but that is an app for topping up transit cards in Kaluga and Obninsk.
More is known about the Horizon Connect client than about Tok itself. Its Google Play page lists the developer Horizon ltd, more than 10,000 installs, a rating of 4.0 from 440 reviews and an update of October 12, 2026. The description says outright that the app doesn't issue configurations and isn't a standalone service. It accepts keys in the VLESS, VMess, Trojan, Shadowsocks and Hysteria2 formats. Which of them Tok issues, the site doesn't say.
The frequent query "ток впн для хапп" (Tok VPN for Happ) remains unanswered: Happ isn't mentioned on the site, and we didn't check compatibility. How such configurations work and why they are risky is explained in the article what a VPN key is, and there is a Happ review about the client itself.
Most often the cause is the key or the server, not the client: the client merely opens someone else's configuration. When the server address falls under filtering at the carrier, the key stops connecting, and only a new configuration from the bot can help.
What to check, in order:
The general troubleshooting order is described in the article why a VPN isn't working. Judging by the site, Tok's support also lives in Telegram: the pages have no email address and no contact form.
We found no independent reviews of Tok VPN: no catalog listings and no write-ups in the media. The service has no app store page with ratings, so there is nowhere even to read user reviews. Everything known about its quality was written by the seller itself.
Before paying for any service with this name, check five things:
A detailed breakdown of the signs is in the article how to spot a fake VPN app.
We recommend BessyConnect to those who need a service with its own app and without searching for the right bot. The app is installed from a store, and there is no key to copy anywhere.
What is known about BessyConnect:
Where to download:
A comparison by what can be verified:
| Tok VPN (according to tokvpn.help) | BessyConnect | |
|---|---|---|
| How it works | A key from a Telegram bot into a third-party client | Its own app |
| App store page | None | App Store and Google Play |
| Protocol | Not named | VLESS with Reality camouflage |
| Windows and Linux | Yes, through the third-party client Hiddify | No app |
| Logs | It is claimed that activity is not tracked; the site has no document about this | Not kept |
Tok is stronger in one thing: the key can be opened on a computer with Windows or Linux, while BessyConnect has no app for Windows. If you need a VPN on exactly that kind of PC, BessyConnect won't cover the task.
There are other honest limits too. BessyConnect isn't in the Russian App Store; to install it on an iPhone you will need an Apple ID from another country. We can't help you get back money already sent to someone else's bot. And when mobile internet is switched off completely, no VPN connects, neither Tok nor ours.
If you have already paid for Tok and it works, there is no urgent reason to change it. But if you are only choosing and don't want to work out which of the bots is the real one, start with BessyConnect: the app for your device is on the download page, and the trial period lets you test the service before paying.
Is Tok VPN free? No. The tokvpn.help site lists 299 rubles a month, and the trial period is paid too: three days for 1 ruble.
Where can I download the Tok VPN app? There is no separate app. The site offers the third-party clients v2RayTun, Streisand, Hiddify and Horizon Connect, into which you paste a key from the Telegram bot.
Which Tok VPN bot is the real one? That can't be established. Telegram has at least two Russian-language bots with this name, @tokvpn_bot and @tok_vpnbot, and the tokvpn.help site sends you to a third one, called Speed Test bot.
Does Tok VPN work in Happ? Happ isn't mentioned on the service's site and isn't in its list of clients. We didn't check compatibility, so ask in the bot before paying.
How is BessyConnect better than Tok VPN? BessyConnect has its own app in the App Store and on Google Play, names its protocol (VLESS with Reality camouflage) and has a trial period. But it has no app for Windows, while a Tok key can be opened on Windows.
