Most often «Максима ВПН» ("Maksima VPN") and «максимум впн» ("maximum vpn") in searches mean one service, Maximum VPN from the Israeli company Sirius LTD. It has an Android app (50K+ installs on Google Play), the Maximum X app for iPhone and Mac, a Telegram bot and a personal account at mxm-secure.ru. Since October 1, 2026, the service has been paid in Russia: from 199 rubles a month, plus a free plan with 2 GB of traffic. But at least three more projects operate under a similar name with no visible connection to Maximum VPN, and they are easy to mix up.
Below: how to find the official personal account, how much the subscription costs, where to download the app and what to do if the service has stopped connecting. All data was checked against the app stores, the site and the service's Telegram channel on October 26, 2026.
If you need a VPN without mandatory registration and with an openly named protocol, we recommend BessyConnect: VLESS with Reality camouflage, no logs kept. Details and links below.
Maximum VPN is published by Sirius LTD, a company with registration number 515230530 and an address in Be'er Sheva (Israel). This legal entity is given in the "About the developer" section on Google Play, in the App Store and in the documents on the maximum-vpn.com site. At the same time, on Google Play the publisher is signed as "Maxumim VPN", with a typo, and the app itself sits in the "House & Home" category.
The maximum-vpn.com site has been in the Wayback Machine archive since March 2026. The iPhone app came out on September 14, 2026. The service has no client of its own for Windows: on a computer you connect through the third-party program Happ.
| Parameter | What the primary sources say |
|---|---|
| Name | Maximum VPN (Android), Maximum X VPN (iPhone, iPad, Mac) |
| Company | Sirius LTD, Israel |
| Google Play | 50K+ installs, rating 3.8 from 713 reviews, updated October 25, 2026 |
| App Store | version 5.4.0 of October 5, 2026; the app isn't in the Russian App Store |
| Personal account | mxm-secure.ru, mxm-secure.kz, app.maximum-vpn.com |
| Telegram | bot @MaximumVPN_official_bot, channel @MaximumVPN_News (1,861 subscribers) |
| Computer | Windows and Intel Macs — via Happ; Apple Silicon Macs — Maximum X |
The service doesn't name its protocol. The documentation only mentions a "custom protocol", and on a computer a subscription link for Happ is used.
We found four VPN projects with this or a similar-sounding name and one more namesake from outside the VPN world. There is no visible connection between them: they have different sites, bots, plans and owners.
Sites that copy someone else's name and redirect to a different service are covered in detail in the article on how to tell a fake VPN app from the original. There is a review of similar one-button services, people's VPNs.
The official Maximum VPN personal account is at mxm-secure.ru, with mirrors at mxm-secure.kz and app.maximum-vpn.com. On October 26, 2026, all three addresses opened and belonged to Maximum VPN. You can log in with email and password, via Google or via Telegram.
Why there are several addresses: on September 17, 2026, the service wrote in its channel that the main site had been blocked and published mirrors. The company promises to post new links in the same place, the @MaximumVPN_News channel.
In the account you can:
The service's main rule: one person, one account. In the channel on August 28, 2026, the company explained that the system automatically blocks duplicate accounts. A typical mistake is to register by email and next time log in via Google: this creates a second account. Choose one login method and don't change it.
Since October 1, 2026, Russia has three paid plans and one free plan. New users get 1 day free, and there are no automatic charges: a plan is paid once.
| Plan | Devices at once | Traffic per month | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | 1 | 2 GB | 0 ₽ |
| 2 devices | 2 | 100 GB | 199 ₽ a month |
| 5 devices | 5 | 500 GB | 299 ₽ a month |
| 10 devices | 10 | unlimited | 399 ₽ a month |
The paid plans are listed on the site, and the terms of the free one were announced by the company in the channel on October 1, 2026. You can pay with a MIR, Visa or Mastercard card, via SBP (Russia's Faster Payments System), YooMoney or cryptocurrency. The paid plans apply only to Russia; in other countries the service, according to the company itself, is free while beta testing is underway.
There is confusion over prices. The Google Play description as of October 26, 2026, still calls Maximum VPN a "free VPN with no limits" on speed and traffic. The documentation at docs.maximum-vpn.com also says "completely free, no plans". The current terms are those from the site and the channel; the description and help pages simply haven't been updated.
A refund, according to the policy of October 26, 2026, is calculated like this: the cost of the traffic used is deducted from the amount, and the rest is returned to the same card or wallet within 14 days.
If you hit a limit. There is no "reset limit" button in the documentation. If the traffic has run out, your options are to change the plan or wait for the next month. If you have run out of device slots, remove old devices in the account.
There are three official sources: Google Play, the App Store for non-Russian accounts, and the maximum-vpn.com site with instructions. RuStore finds nothing for the queries «максима впн» and "maximum vpn".
Don't download "Maksima" from sites like maximavpn.help or from APK catalogs. If the app has disappeared from the store, what to do is described in the article what to do if a VPN has disappeared from the App Store.
The most common causes, judging by the channel and Google Play reviews: an old version of the app, problems logging in to the account, and the provider blocking the service's addresses. In October 2026 users wrote on Google Play about a "login error" and an "activation error". Another review said the Android app loads nothing, even though the same subscription works in Happ.
What to check, in order:
If nothing helped, the problem is most likely the network: when mobile internet is shut off under whitelists, neither this nor any other VPN works. Other causes are covered in the article why a VPN isn't working.
We didn't find an independent audit of Maximum VPN. There are only the company's own statements, and they contradict each other.
The figures about the network differ too. The site's home page says "50+ locations", Google Play says "70+ servers", the servers page lists 18 countries, and on September 18, 2026, the channel announced 10 more new countries. Which list is current can't be determined from open sources.
We recommend BessyConnect to those who want to understand how a service works and don't want to create an account. The protocol is named in full: VLESS with Reality camouflage, and traffic looks like an ordinary HTTPS connection. There are more than a hundred servers, no logs are kept, registration isn't required, and there is a trial period.
Where Maximum VPN is stronger, to put it plainly. It has a permanent free plan with 2 GB a month, payment via SBP and detailed instructions for Windows and Linux via Happ. BessyConnect has no Windows app.
| BessyConnect | Maximum VPN | Maxima VPN (MXMA) | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Protocol | VLESS with Reality camouflage | not named | not named, Happ client |
| Free | trial period | 1 day, then 2 GB a month | 3 days |
| Registration | not required | an account is mandatory | Telegram or Yandex ID |
| Own apps | iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, Android, Android TV | Android, iPhone, iPad, Mac on Apple Silicon | no, Happ only |
| Windows | no | via Happ | via Happ |
BessyConnect apps:
What neither BessyConnect nor any other VPN will solve. When mobile internet is shut off under whitelists, a VPN as a rule doesn't help. BessyConnect can't be installed on a Windows computer. BessyConnect, like Maximum X, isn't in the Russian App Store: for an iPhone you need an Apple ID from another country. A detailed comparison by parameters is in the article BessyConnect and other VPNs.
If Maximum VPN connects reliably for you and the free 2 GB is enough, there is no reason to switch. But if it has started logging you out of your account or you don't want to register just for a VPN, try BessyConnect: all versions are gathered on the download page.
Are Maksima VPN and "maximum vpn" the same service? Most often, yes: these names refer to Maximum VPN from Sirius LTD. But there is also a separate service, Maxima VPN (MXMA), with the bot @mxmavpnbot, the bot VPN maxima, and the site maximavpn.help, which leads to a different service. Check the personal account address: for Maximum VPN it is mxm-secure.ru.
Where is the Maksima VPN personal account? At mxm-secure.ru, with mirrors at mxm-secure.kz and app.maximum-vpn.com. The same account is available through the bot @MaximumVPN_official_bot and the mini app in Telegram.
Is Maksima VPN free? Partly. Since October 1, 2026, Russia has a free plan for 1 device and 2 GB a month; the paid ones cost 199, 299 and 399 rubles a month, and new users get 1 day free.
Can I download Maksima VPN for PC? There is no separate program for Windows. The service suggests installing the free Happ client and pasting the subscription link from the personal account into it. On Macs with Apple Silicon, Maximum X works.
What can replace Maksima VPN? For example, BessyConnect: VLESS with Reality camouflage, no logs kept, registration not required, with apps for iPhone, Mac, Apple TV, Android and Android TV. BessyConnect has no Windows version.
