Maviks VPN («Мавикс ВПН») is MaviksVPN, a paid VPN service that sells keys through the Telegram bot @maviks_bot and the site maviks.app. It has no app of its own: the key is added to the third-party client Happ. As of October 27, 2026, the site lists plans from 199 rubles a month with monthly billing down to 133 rubles a month when paying for a year, plus a free week for new users. The "Maviks VPN" app on Google Play is published by the developer VLESS DEV, and it isn't on the service's list of official links.
If you need a VPN with its own app in the App Store and Google Play, without hunting for keys and third-party clients, we recommend BessyConnect. Below we go through what can be verified about Maviks from open sources.
MaviksVPN is a service that sells access to servers, not a program: after payment, the bot issues an access key, which is pasted into Happ or v2RayTun. According to Telegram, the bot @maviks_bot has 321,312 monthly users, and the official channel @maviks_info has 79,399 subscribers (27.10.2026). The legal entity and its details are not listed on the maviks.app home page.
The query is noticeable: about 3 thousand impressions a month according to Wordstat. The service's history can be reconstructed from its channel:
MaviksVPN belongs to the same wave of Telegram services as Tok, Tik and Ded. How they differ is covered in the review of people's VPNs.
There are three official resources: the site maviks.app, the bot @maviks_bot and the channel @maviks_info. The service published this list in its channel on October 19, 2026, together with a warning about fake sites and bots. The service suggests using the number of users in the bot's profile as an additional reference point.
The brand has a lot of look-alikes. We checked their public pages on October 27, 2026:
| What it is | Address | What the page shows |
|---|---|---|
| Official bot | @maviks_bot | "MaviksVPN", 321,312 monthly users, an orange sphere on the avatar, like the site icon |
| Bot "MaviksVPN" | @maviks_vpn_bot | A similar description, a different logo, not mentioned by the official resources |
| Bot "MaviksVPN" | @MaviksVPN_bot | No description, the same different logo |
| Bot "Maviks VPN" | @maviksvpnbot | Telegram has marked it SCAM |
| Channel named "@maviks_bot" | @maviksvpn | 137 subscribers, created June 3, 2025, its only post leads to another VPN's bot |
| Channel "Maviks VPN" | @maviks_vpn | 22 subscribers, created the same day, the same link to someone else's bot |
| The "Maviks VPN" app on Google Play | maviksvpn.app | Developer VLESS DEV, more on it below |
| Channel "Mavix Vpn" | @mavixvpn | A Persian-language channel, unrelated to the service |
Back in the spring of 2025, the service wrote in its channel that it has no backup bots, and that the official bot shows Telegram ads, including ones from scammers posing as a "backup bot". When paying, the service advises checking that the payment form says Maviks VPN. General signs of fakes are collected in the article how to spot a fake VPN app.
A search for «мавикс» ("maviks") also turns up namesakes: ООО «Мавикс» (Maviks LLC) from Moscow (wholesale trade, liquidated on March 4, 2026), the AI app Mavix AI in the App Store, and a medicine with a similar-sounding name. No connection between them and the VPN service was found.
maviks.app has four plans; the price is given per month and drops with the length of the subscription: 199, 166, 150 and 133 rubles. The site promises new users a free week of access. Payment is via SBP (Russia's Faster Payments System) through any bank.
| Subscription length | Price on the site (27.10.2026) |
|---|---|
| 1 month | 199 ₽ a month |
| 3 months | 166 ₽ a month |
| 6 months | 150 ₽ a month |
| 12 months | 133 ₽ a month |
| Trial access | A free week |
The site doesn't say how many devices the subscription covers. The note "for all devices" appears only on the six-month plan, and there is no explanation of what it means.
Promo codes are issued by the service itself: in the bot you can buy days of access as a gift in the form of a promo code, there is a "Promos and deals" section, and 10 days are credited for an invited friend. Since June 2025, a "Wheel of Fortune" has been tied to payments: the longer the subscription, the more attempts to win days of access or prizes. We wouldn't use promo codes from outside sites: the service itself has warned about ads from scammers who steal card details.
If a payment "didn't go through", in December 2025 the service advised requesting a new payment link in the bot.
What you download is not Maviks but the Happ client, and then you add the key to it: that's how installation works on maviks.app. The site claims support for iOS, Android, Windows, macOS, Linux, routers and TVs.
iPhone. Happ isn't in the Russian App Store: on October 27, 2026, its page there returns a 404 error. The service itself suggests changing your Apple ID region to another country.
Computer. There is no separate MaviksVPN program for Windows and Mac; the same Happ is used. How to install it on a computer is covered in the article Happ on PC. We wouldn't download "Maviks VPN for Windows" installers from third-party sites: the service's site has no programs of its own and sends you to install Happ.
TV. In 2024, the service published instructions for Android TV via v2RayTun: the key is pasted from the phone through a remote-control app.
Personal account. On maviks.app you log in through the Telegram bot or with a code from an email. The account contains the subscription, setup, instructions, invitations and payment history. The login link from the bot has an expiry: if it has expired, the account asks you to request a new one in the bot.
Most often three things are to blame: an outdated Happ, an old key or restrictions from the mobile carrier. First update Happ and the key, then switch location, and if only mobile internet isn't working, check over Wi-Fi.
| What's happening | What the service itself advised | When |
|---|---|---|
| The VPN suddenly stopped working | Update the Happ app: most likely an old version is installed | 10.03.2026 |
| Many users have connection trouble on the same day | Update the key (subscription) in Happ | 29.03.2026 |
| Failures on one of the locations | Temporarily choose a backup location (Reserve, Germany-Reserve) | 2025 |
| Only mobile internet isn't working | Beeline, and partly MTS and T2, restricted VPNs under whitelists; the service works over Wi-Fi | 27.08.2026 |
| Outages for all users at once | An attack on the servers; the service was stabilized the same day | 25.02.2026 |
| No Happ on a new iPhone | The app was removed from the Russian App Store; an Apple ID from another country is needed | 23.06.2026 |
| Money was charged, but there's no access | Request a new payment link in the bot, write in the bot's chat | 29.12.2025 |
If mobile internet works only under whitelists, that's a restriction on the carrier's side, and no VPN lifts it. What this mode is is explained in the article whitelists on mobile internet. Other causes are collected in the article why a VPN isn't working.
Support answers right in the chat of the bot @maviks_bot. A separate bot «Помощь MaviksVPN» (MaviksVPN Help, @maviks_support) exists, but it isn't on the official list of links.
Little can be verified. The service says it doesn't keep logs, but there is no independent audit, and the legal entity isn't named on the site's home page. The maviks.app footer has links to the terms of use and the privacy policy, but we couldn't get their text. Happ is only a client, so the traffic is visible to the owner of the servers the key leads to, that is, MaviksVPN itself.
What is known from primary sources:
Separately, about the "Maviks VPN" app on Google Play. It is published by the account VLESS DEV; the listing names ООО «ГЕЙМ-ИНВЕСТ» (GAME-INVEST LLC) from Arkhangelsk, more than 5 thousand downloads, a rating of 3.3 from 17 reviews and an update on October 19, 2026. The privacy policy link leads to the page of another VPN, Easy Go VPN, and the same account publishes "Karing VPN", "Surfshark VPN", "Velvet VPN" and «Хиро ВПН» (Hero VPN). This app isn't on MaviksVPN's official list of links. We didn't install it and don't know which servers it connects to. In one of its reviews (July 31, 2026), a user writes that money was charged but the app never worked.
If the "bot plus someone else's client" setup doesn't suit you, there are services with their own apps. The table shows BessyConnect, MaviksVPN and two services from our reviews, with data as of the check date of each review.
| BessyConnect | MaviksVPN | Sota VPN | Ded VPN | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| How to connect | Its own app from the App Store and Google Play | A key from the bot or the account, the Happ client | Its own app, Sota Connect | Its own app; on Android, an APK from the site |
| Protocol | VLESS with Reality camouflage | Not named on the site | Not named | Not disclosed |
| Registration | Not required | A Telegram account or email | An anonymous key | Not needed |
| Trial period | Yes | A free week | 7 days | No data |
| Windows | No | Via Happ | Yes | Yes |
| TV | Android TV, Apple TV | Android TV via v2RayTun | Android TV, Apple TV | Android TV and Google TV |
Where MaviksVPN is stronger than BessyConnect, to put it plainly. According to its site, it can be connected on Windows and Linux via Happ. It also offers payment via SBP and a separate Russia location for Russian sites from abroad. It is weaker where you need a client of its own: the service doesn't work without a third-party app, and Happ has disappeared from the Russian App Store. Sota and Ded are covered in detail in separate reviews.
We recommend BessyConnect to those who want a single app instead of a bundle of a bot, a key and a client. The service has more than 100 servers on VLESS with Reality camouflage: traffic looks like an ordinary HTTPS connection, which makes it resistant to DPI. No logs are kept, registration isn't required, and there is a trial period.
BessyConnect apps:
Honest limitations. BessyConnect has no Windows app, and a Maviks key can't be added to it. BessyConnect isn't in the Russian App Store either; an iPhone requires an Apple ID from another country. Under mobile internet whitelists, neither BessyConnect, nor MaviksVPN, nor any other VPN helps: the carrier lets through only permitted sites.
If MaviksVPN works for you and your subscription is paid, there's no need to change anything. But if you're tired of updating keys in Happ and looking for a client for a new iPhone, try BessyConnect: all versions are gathered on the download page.
Is Maviks VPN free? No, it's a paid subscription. maviks.app has a free week for new users, then from 133 to 199 rubles a month depending on the term (prices as of 27.10.2026).
Where is the official Maviks VPN site? The service's site is maviks.app, the bot is @maviks_bot, and the news channel is @maviks_info. The service published this list on October 19, 2026; other bots and channels with similar names are not official.
Is there Maviks VPN for PC? There is no separate program. The MaviksVPN key is added to the Happ client: according to the service's site, that's how it works on Windows, macOS and Linux.
Why doesn't Maviks VPN work on mobile internet? At the end of August 2026, the service reported that Beeline, and partly MTS and T2, restricted VPNs on the mobile network under whitelists. Over Wi-Fi the service was working at the time. First update Happ and the key, then check the connection over Wi-Fi.
What can replace Maviks VPN if you don't want to bother with keys? A service with its own app, for example BessyConnect: VLESS with Reality camouflage, more than 100 servers, registration not required. But BessyConnect has no Windows version, while MaviksVPN works on a computer via Happ.
An honest BessyConnect review: a VLESS+Reality VPN with 100+ servers in 15 countries, apps for iOS, Android and Android TV, and no browsing logs kept. More
